Monolithic Power Systems Inc. (MPS), specializing in high performance analog semiconductors, announced it has opened its EMEA headquarters in Bernin, near Grenoble (France).
MPS said that the choice of location was based on the favorable ecosystem in electronics, the “highly skilled workforce”, the “central geographic location”, the “access to excellent transportation infrastructure”, “moderate costs”, and, on another level, the “high standard of living” in the Grenoble area.
Founded in 1997 in San Jose (California, United States), MPS is also present in Taiwan, in China, in Korea, and in Japan. The company said the new EMEA headquarters “have been set up to manage its operations in Europe, in the Middle East, in Africa, in Australia, in New Zealand, and in South America.
MPS EMEA now employs five people, with the hope of quickly doubling the number of employees. This team, under the direction of Jean-François Daviet, supervises a network of several dozens of distributors, representatives, and salesmen.
